Blair Levinsky, Co-Founder, Co-CEO and Portfolio Manager

Blair is a Co-Founder, Co-CEO and Portfolio Manager at Waratah.

Prior to founding Waratah Blair was a Managing Director at TD Securities (TD Newcrest) in Institutional Equities. During Blairís 11 years at TD Securities he had various roles in Equity Capital Markets and the Mergers & Acquisitions group within Investment Banking.

Blair holds a Bachelorís Degree from the University of Western Ontario, Bachelor of Laws and a Master in Business Administration from Dalhousie University and is on the Investment Committee and the Board of the Womenís College Hospital Foundation.

Brad Dunkley, Co-Founder, Co-CEO and Portfolio Manager

Brad is a Co-Founder, Co-CEO and Portfolio Manager at Waratah Capital Advisors Ltd. where he oversees all investing and risk management activities.

From 1998 to 2010, Brad distinguished himself as an astute investor while at Gluskin Sheff + Associates. As Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Gluskin Sheff, Brad managed equity long/short strategies comprising of $1 billion.

Brad holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a bachelorís degree in business administration from Wilfred Laurier University, where he was the gold medal recipient. Brad is a board member of Beautiful World Canada, a trustee of the Dunkley Charitable Foundation and serves as a reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Jason Landau, Portfolio Manager

Jason joined Waratah Advisors in September 2010 from TD Bank's dealer, TD Securities where he worked as an Associate in Investment Banking and Equity Capital Markets since 2006. During his time at TD, Jason was involved in domestic mergers and acquisitions as well as the structuring and pricing of equity securities, convertible debentures and preferred shares. Prior to that Jason received his Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Rob Pulkys, Vice President, Trade Execution

Rob joined Waratah Advisors in March 2013 from Highstreet Asset Management where he was the head trader for the firmís quantitative mandates. Prior to Highstreet, Rob was at Ontario Teacherís Pension Plan where he traded equities and derivatives, in all developed and major emerging markets, on both an agency and proprietary basis. Rob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, he holds a CFA designation and is currently a board member of the Buy-Side Investment Management Association.

Peter Vanderploeg, Vice President, Risk Management

Peter joined Waratah Advisors in November 2016. Previously Peter has been VP Risk at Polar Asset Management, a $1b multi-strategy hedge fund manager until 2007.
He also founded and managed a solar installation company and an African agricultural marketing company. Peter has CFA and a Mathematics B.SC from the University of Toronto.

Benjamin Thorek, Investment Analyst

Benjamin joined Waratah Advisors in July 2013. Previously, he worked at Genuity Capital Partners (now Hawthorn Equity Partners) focusing primarily on middle-market private equity investments in the consumer products and business service sectors. Prior to Genuity Capital Partners, Benjamin worked in Corporate Finance at SkyPower Corp. a large Canadian renewable energy developer. Benjamin holds a Bachelorís Degree in Applied Science from Queens University, a Masterís Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and holds the CFA designation.

Jason Kirsch, Investment Analyst

Jason joined Waratah Advisors in August 2013. Prior to joining Waratah, he worked at Galliant Capital Management, a Montreal based investment management firm. While at Galliant, Jason was focused on analyzing long and short opportunities in the United States for the firmís hedge fund products. Jason holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Investment Management from McGill University.

Robert Fournier, Investment Analyst

Robert joined Waratah Advisors in March 2014. Robert has previously worked in private equity for Penfund Management Limited where he evaluated debt and equity investment opportunities. Prior to Penfund he worked at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets as an Investment Banking Associate. Robert has an MBA from the Columbia Business School and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University.

Michael Tang, Risk Analyst

Michael joined Waratah Advisors in May 2015. Michael holds an Engineering Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science degree in Mathematics in Finance from New York Universityís Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Prior to joining Waratah, Michael held an internship position as a quantitative strategist at Lincoln Financial Group, focusing on hedging variable annuities.

Barrett Cribbey, Trader

Barrett Joined Waratah Advisors in June 2015 after completing an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and graduating with distinction. Prior to joining Waratah full-time, Barrett completed two summer internships with the firm, analyzing long and short equity opportunities and participating in trade operations.

David Greenwald, Investment Analyst

David joined Waratah Advisors in August 2015. Prior to joining Waratah, David worked in the Direct Private Equity team at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board where he evaluated private equity investment opportunities in North America and Europe. Prior to the CPP Investment Board, he worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Moelis & Company in New York. David holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Eugene Vath, Investment Analyst

Eugene joined Waratah Advisors in April 2016. Prior to joining Waratah, he worked at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets in the trading and equity research groups with a focus on Oil & Gas E&P's. Eugene holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Victoria and both the CFA and CPA designations

Faisal Ratansi, Investment Analyst

Faisal joined Waratah Advisors in November 2016. Prior to joining Waratah, he worked at Balyasny Asset Management in New York, where he focused on analyzing long/short opportunities in the North American Financials sector. Prior to that, Faisal worked at Tricon Capital as a member of the investment team in San Francisco and Toronto. He also worked in investment banking in New York for Morgan Stanley, where he was a member of the coverage and transaction execution teams for Financial Institutions and Financial Sponsors. Faisal graduated from Dartmouth College with an Honours degree in Economics.
