About Philip Panet

Philip joined Waratah Capital Advisors in May 2022. Philip is responsible for legal matters affecting the firm and of the funds managed by the firm.
Prior to joining Waratah, Philip worked as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at West Face Capital, another Toronto-based investment fund. He also worked at UBS Securities Canada, Amaranth Advisors (Canada) and Torys LLP.
Philip earned a JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, an AM from Harvard University and a BSc from University of Toronto. He is also a CFA charter holder.
