About Shawn Shewchuk
Shawn joined Waratah Capital Advisors in 2024. Prior to joining the team, he spent 11 years developing customized investment solutions and portfolios across traditional and alternative asset classes for private wealth clients. Shawn is responsible for multi-family office and institutional client accounts.
Prior to joining Waratah, Shawn was a Portfolio Manager at GAVIN Private Counsel. He focused on portfolio and risk management and client relationship management for professional athletes as well as high-net worth individuals. Previously, he worked at CIBC World Markets as an Equity Research Associate.
Shawn graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering while playing on the varsity hockey team. He also completed his Master of Business Administration degree at McMaster University and holds a CFA designation.
