About Tim Stinson

Tim joined Waratah Capital Advisors in 2019, after a successful 12 years at a large Canadian asset management firm. Tim is responsible for the account management of high net worth individuals, foundations and institutional clients.

Tim has over 30 years of experience in asset management, having held senior executive positions at Gluskin Sheff, Knight Bain Private Counsel and Beutel Goodman Investment Counsel throughout his career.

Tim graduated from Western University with an Economics Degree. Tim is currently the President of the KBSH Spirit Foundation, former Canadian Advisory Board Member for Right to Play Canada, and former Chair of the Havergal College Foundation. Tim is registered as an Advising and Dealing Representative.
